Additional Ancillary Products Available for Quoting in E-Sales

We’ve added more ancillary benefits to the E-Sales self-service quoting platform, including voluntary short-term disability (STD), voluntary long-term disability (LTD), and basic long-term disability (LTD). We’ve also redesigned our basic life insurance and STD plans and rates. These enhancements follow the addition of vision, accident and critical illness benefits to the quoting platform in the fall of 2022.

Starting Jan. 31, producers can quote new business with more comprehensive benefit options to complement the medical, dental, life and short-term disability products already available in E-Sales. Additional bundling discounts will also be available for groups who select three or more ancillary products.

Who is eligible? Fully insured groups with 2-50 employees. STD, voluntary LTD and basic LTD will be available for quoting for new business with May 1 effective dates and beyond.

What products are eligible for bundling discounts? Basic life, basic STD and basic LTD plans are eligible for additional discounts when three or more ancillary products, including dental, are purchased.  

Why is this important? E-Sales captures popular plans in the small group market and makes them easier to access and easier to quote. Offering additional ancillary products on E-Sales gives producers an efficient way of helping small groups create more robust benefit plans.

How do producers access the tool? Producers can begin a quote by logging in to Blue Access for Producers^SM and then navigating to the E-Sales Tools Home Page.
